Awesome job JB! Who needs a forward facing sonar, when the water's so clear you can see the school. Beautiful pictures buddy.
Lol. My FFS found those fish š
Fun morning on a crystal clear smallmouth lake. Caught and released about 25 fish all caught on dropshotā¦ homemade bait and 3.5 flatworm. Tight lines to all. On photo 3, you can see an entire school 20-25 ft down following my hooked fish. So cool š
Blue sharks (60-80 lbs)ā¦ Bat rays around 60 lbs. I had a small 14 ft skiff I would row out of King Harbor in Southern Calif when I was 14-15 yrs oldā¦ often at night. So fun. Would spool as much as possible 25 lb mono I could get on that little reelā¦ letting them tow me around. Had a blast !!!
Youāre killing it. Beautiful fish my friend
Awesome pics Tim. Keep it going š
Nice try Wallyā¦ close but no cigar. Bass rule ššš
Been guiding a friend visiting from Florida for last 4 days. Been working hard to put him on different types of bass fishery from small lakes, big lakes and rivers. Iāve done everything to get him bent, but have been delinquent in taking any photos. But just getting ready today to load up and call it, I managed this nice Northern Largemouth. The topper was it was on one of my homemade baits. All fish in last 4 days released to fight again. Tight lines to all

Thank you. I honestly feel humble and thankful for the opportunity to serve. I still think we make a difference in the quality of life besides the negative verbiage from the liberal drive by media.

Nice weather we are having
Classic. Hysterical š. Rheatown, you absolutely nailed it when you said thereās a reason good folks, businesses and others are leaving those states for good. I***t politicians and those that ignorantly v**e them in are destroying those once wonderful places to live and work. Theyāre a mess, and not getting better. I invested 42 years of my live in law enforcement in Los Angeles, and I know a little bit of the caliber of people inhabiting that state. Itās a shameā¦ and even God forbid Calif governor ever gets to be president. Oh, by the way, caught really nice largemouth today up to 5 lbs fishing weightless sinkos in the sloughs off Flathead River. Fun bite
How did this gravitate from a discussion of property taxes on Calif boats to an anti Calif thread. Lots of really really really good people in that state. Just screwed up liberal politics. Letās get back on track.
I ran into a similar problem on a new boat I purchased several years ago before escaping Calif and moving to Montana. First, they had the wrong model for my boat, that was about $15K more than my boat. I challenged it in person at the tax office. Of course it took a while, as I didnāt make friends with the first two employees that literally did NOT speak English. I brought in my sales records. They wanted to include my sales tax & registration to their asset value. Which they can NOT add to the value of the boat. They also wanted to include the dealers prep, which they can NOT do either. Also, they wanted to include the shipping cost from the manufacturer to the dealer in Calif., again which they can NOT include. What a royal pain in the ass. When I left Calif I brought the boat with me to Montana. I reported the boat as well as my cars to DMV (required by Calif DMV) that I moved to Montana. I registered the boat immediately with Montana DMV. 2 years later I started to get demand & delinquent notices from Calif that I owed 2 years of back property taxes on the boat. They claimed I couldnāt prove I left Calif and lived in another state. Although somehow they had my current Montana address to mail stuff. Duh !!! I spent hours talking to dumb & dumber on the phone. I had all my paperwork in order that I reported leaving Calif (yahoo) and had registered all my vehās according to Montana DMV regulations. Finally, they agreed I had done everything correctly (of course they had me guilty before I could present anything). It was a complete money grab by Calif and a true pain in the butt.

If I may ask, where are you catching bass your bass?
I hold no secrets from you. I fish approx 3 times per week, and normally fish 3 different lakes each week. I have over 20 lakes close to my residence here in Whitefish MTā¦ including Flathead River that has multiple sloughs all holding bass. I really donāt have a favorite as they all fish differently, some have smallmouth, some have largemouth and a few have both. The more I fish each one, the better I get at figuring out locations and what to throw. Itās this challenge of putting all the pieces together that keeps me excited to fish as many lakes as possible. Most of these lakes are within or just outside Flathead Valleyā¦ if you Google earth up here youāll see a lot of lakes. Finding out how to get there, whether or not I can launch my bassboat, and whether or not it holds bass is all part of the attraction. Hope Iāve answered your question.
Dozen good ones this morning drop shot. All fish released to fight again. Tight lines to all
Stoke seeing you chasing the green ones š
