If I may ask, where are you catching bass your bass?

I hold no secrets from you. I fish approx 3 times per week, and normally fish 3 different lakes each week. I have over 20 lakes close to my residence here in Whitefish MT… including Flathead River that has multiple sloughs all holding bass. I really don’t have a favorite as they all fish differently, some have smallmouth, some have largemouth and a few have both. The more I fish each one, the better I get at figuring out locations and what to throw. It’s this challenge of putting all the pieces together that keeps me excited to fish as many lakes as possible. Most of these lakes are within or just outside Flathead Valley… if you Google earth up here you’ll see a lot of lakes. Finding out how to get there, whether or not I can launch my bassboat, and whether or not it holds bass is all part of the attraction. Hope I’ve answered your question.

Thanks for the info! Didn't realize there was bass fishing here in MT. I spend my time here in Bozeman and down in Sun City AZ. Here in Bozeman I fish for walleye and some trout, in AZ I fish for bass and crappie.

The trout and walleye a great way of distracting the masses from JB main target fish. You’re right that the majority of what people target in the region are usually not the bass. The bass are enjoying all the free time too. Enjoy the all the fish sticks they eat of all the species of fish.
