Well that is some serious crime when it comes to hunting at night and poaching never heard of them taking the vehicle but it makes sense don't think they'll ever do that again what's that in the state of Maryland ?

That's great Lil Al. Glad you found that other box. Hope you get a chance to catch some good ones with the new lures. Post some pics when you do.

Yes sir Saw dad had this tackle box barried deep in the garage after opening it up I see why it's full of all kinds of goodies things that would have caught my eye when I was younger if you know what I mean that's probably why he had it buried LOL looking forward to my trip and posting pictures for you all thanks again Saw

I hear ya Al, not enough hours in the day, or days in the week. Where are you taking the Crawdad to, up in the mountains?

The Crawdad boat is pretty much finished Fred built new floors for got a battery box installed the only thing I'm lacking at the moment is my new what we call in California CF numbers the boat is green and I have to have white identification numbers and all I could find in my area were black so I had to order my numbers they should be here Tuesday then it'll be done

So I'm going to assume that Johnny and Gean both lost their privilege to hunt for a year or two and paid some pretty serious fines

I would add some Panther Martin spinners as well. Rooster Tail spinners are also good. Between those and your Meeps you should have plenty that will work.
Little Rapalas work well sometimes too.

Panther martins and rapalas will be added to my arsenal saw thank you so much for your input I did find a whole another tackle box dad left me with all kinds of spinners and things like that in it just got to take the time to go through it all thank you again saw hope you're having a great Father's Day

Hello all I'm heading to the Sierras to the June loop area for a 5 day camp fishing trip. I've always been kind of a bait and wait trout fisherman with power bait and mice tails being my go-to baits and I've never really fish for trout using lures so I'm hoping somebody out there can suggest some good lures to purchase to take with me I do have what is called a Mepps killer kit that has about 10 or 12 spinners in it that my dad left me but that's all I have any suggestions would be much appreciated Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there

Like I said, I usually only use that reel when I'm not expecting to catch anything bigger than about 8 or 10 inches. I posted a picture of a trout I caught up on the Stanislaus and it was caught with that reel and that line. Lots of little brookies in there too. I spent a day up there a few years ago and wore those little guys and girls out. Great fun. Live and learn, right? I shoulda known better. It'll be 12 or 15 when I return. And I will.

Sounds like a great trip spirit glad you had a good time beautiful pictures beautiful country up there I'm actually heading up to the June loop area first week of July can't wait thank you for the pictures and the post
