It seems to happen to many people G. I'm sure you see more than most of us. I see older people out n about that can hardly walk. Still they drive themselves. I wonder if they have nobody or nobody cares. It's sad to see. Brings to mind the older gentlemen at PT awhile back. I stopped long enough to hear his story. Almost in tears he told me his last living friend had just passed away. Last of his family n friends. I was in a hurry but to this day I wish I would have taken the extra minute or two to get his name n #. He just needed someone to talk to. That could be anyone of us someday. 👍

Hey fellow stagers. I’m really confused as to what Christmas means where I live. I’m a native San Franciscan(entire life) . Here’s my concern.. I know that I live in the most progressive city in the nation along with the progressive district in the city. Here’s my concern.. I have a beautiful tree. Well decorated, open for all to see. My home is draped with lites. There are over fifty homes on my block. There is not a single home that is displaying any form of Christmas celebration. No trees in the window or any lites. Am I overthinking this or what has happened to Christmas. Maybe time to move?

The day of infamy. Our nation was attacked. We responded and 3 1/2 years later our enemies were defeated. Few are left alive who fought those battles, many are left who have fought all the battles since. I am not a warrior. I never have been. To all of you have taken up the standard in my stead I am deeply, profoundly grateful. I for one CARE….. about all of you.

It's sad, but my great-great-grand kids will never know the joy of finding a quarter in the return slot of a payphone.

Do you remember getting out of bed without sound effects?

When the hen stops laying eggs, is it henopause?

I really miss being able to slam the phone down when I hang up on someone. Violently pressing "end call" just ain't the same.

Man to grandson: "When I was your age, I had to walk to the tv to change channels.

If my body was a car, it would be time to trade for a newer model. I've got scratches, bumps and dents in my finish and my paint job is getting dull. Thats not the worst of it. My headlights are out of focus and it's hard to see things close up, far off or at night. My traction is not as good as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather. My white walls are stained with varicose veins. It takes hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel burns inefficiently...and, here's the worst part:

Every time I sneeze or cough, either my radiator leaks or my exhaust back-fires.

WOW is right. What an amazing fish and story.
However, I really don't want to fight ANYTHING for 2 hours.
At my age, I wouldn't even wanna rassle with a woman for 2 HOURS, no matter how pretty she is.

G-mornin knuckleheads. 31 now. 56 later and cloudy all day. I strained or pulled a muscle in my lower back. Supposed to work 12 today. I may call in which I rarely do.

Whenever your feeling sad or depressed, just think that somewhere in the world there's a guy pulling on a door that says PUSH.

TGIF clones. Have a good one.

I saw a sign on a store window on the Oregon coast that read "push if that don't work pull if that don't work, we are closed"

Not uncommon Jim. Check you BP for a week at home and divide by 7. That will give you a baseline average on what your true reading is and your pulse also. My doc had me do it. But those readings are excellent in the doctor's office.

My Doc and I have a good relationship I got him into fishing now we always talk a few minutes about fishing before we get down to business

The eldest son Gregg turned to the ripe old age of 36 today. He’s down in Missouri on business, a day we traditionally fish or hunt which wasn’t in the cards this year. Though the weather here was rather rainy and windy I felt the need to replicate those forays. Caught 4 snot rockets, one LM and a crappie slow rolling Keitechs, nothing picture worthy especially given the conditions. Texted him that 6x6=36 last time I remembered and to have a good day.

my youngest is now 50 years old where does the time go
