Mornin G, Griz, and all. Finally Friday! A few service calls, 1 contract meeting, and I quit for the week. gonna try to get back to the woods tomorrow and get serious about freezer meat.

Gmorn Doug Good luck hunting brother be safe out there. I rea the other day about two 11yr old boys in Michigan getting killed. One shot by a member of the group. Supposedly the guy was unloading his rifle. So much for hunters safety course for him. 👍

Mornin’ all,
31 now, heading for upper 40s for a day or two. We’ll make ice overnight and evaporate during the day, just the way it is.
Good luck with the back Greg, that is the weak link in my “chain” of various ailments. Alternate between heat and ice, along with rest in between. 20 minutes at a time for each. Tylenol helps take the edge off, so you can try to get the resting portion in.

30* now, going to 45* later, windy. 9* tonight, with snow and 45 mph gusts. Oh, I can hardly wait.

I best not put off putting my chains on the plow truck today. I may need to use it tomorrow.

Take care of that back, G'Man. It's the only one you have. I hope you didn't pull the muscle doing hip trusts last night.

We just had that happen here Grizz, an 11 year old was killed while a 41 year old (in his hunting party) unloaded his weapon while it was in the car?? The story I read was poorly written, so I can’t figure out how it happened, but the avoidable ones are truly the saddest.

That's all it is. I think it said this guy was in the vehicle. About 50yrs ago we had a man n a boy killed in turkey season. One saw something in the brush. It was his nephew. Other one a guy shot a guy using a turkey call. Absolutely did not identify the target. Some of us use to go squirrel hunting together. One of the guys brought someone with him. This kid shot 100 rds of 22's. Not one squirrel. We gave him a choice of never bringing him again or he was out of the gang. 👍👍

Gmorn Slim. I've seen many deer seasons that weather made it very difficult or impossible. Last season Body n I went didn't get out of the teens. We we went one day in rifle blackpowder n archery. It was brutal. Stay warm 👍😊
