Party boats out of Point Lookout, Freeport, Captree, Montauk. Sure I missed a few out east.
And…. We are ON Long Island, not IN Long Island 😁 A long standing issue with locals !!
Saw that on GOODFELLOWS…
Oh wait…..
You are correct. In my head now....forever.
As a soccer goalkeeper my entire life I learned how to go down gracefully without injury (most of the time). Of course those were planned events). I did that thousands of times. It’s the unplanned ones that get ya, although reffing a game last year my right foot landed in a hole and I did go down, but basically a drop, roll, and back up. Even the kids were impressed by a 70 year old guy that could do that ! As they used to say in Hill Street Blues… BE CAREFUL OUT THERE……. Feek better.
Just bought a pair of Shady Rays for about $85. Nice solid shades.
Agree a palomar is the way to go. Tie a few with your glasses or magnifying device and then try a few without looking. Its a simple knot.

Isn’t that Japanese for hello?
I want to know what happens to potatoes when you put them in the dishwasher.
Schoolies in the surf are so much fun, especially with a lighter rod. A few years back they stuck around for three days straight. I’d leave as it got dark as they were still biting, not an easy thing to do. My total count was 50. They haven’t been back like that since.
I had a Kokotat drysuit. It will keep you fully dry and warm with thermals underneath. Just know the neck and wrist areas will be quite tight. Not the most comfortable for me but watertight, which is the goal. It wasn’t restrictive at all. Just go larger as opposed to smaller if you’re not sure of size.
I’ve been thru it. It’s no fun but you can prepare the best you can. Physically I made sure I was in pretty good shape by hitting the gym prior to surgery, working on my mid section a lot. Mentally you need to stay positive, don’t dwell on it. I stopped reading the numerous articles people kept sending me. Best of luck. Stay strong.
Prayers to you and your wife.
