It does make a difference! Simple rule is dark water dark colors black blue red. In clear water natural colors white green pumpkin grey match the hatch! It makes a BOG difference I’ve been fishing for bass my hole life and it is a must if you want to catch more fish!!! YouTube this question lots of videos on it

There is a creek that goes throug that town has trout in it! Spinning rod and some rooster tails will catch almost everything in the creek! Also a few lakes around the area!

You can find the hook sizes on the package in the upper corners. You will see sizes 1/0-8/0
EWG= extra wide gap.. Can find them at Walmart or any tackle shop
I Use 4/0-5/0 ewg hook and 40lb braided line! I also use plastic creature baits or jigs. Give a really strong hook set and you should be good! You can use these hooks with live bait too go through mouth up through nose plate bowfin aren’t hook shy! Hope this helps!!

Plastic lizard, no weight, run across top with some pauses! A fluke weightless across top and a paddle tail soft plastic weightless or with an 1/16oz to 1/8pz weight with a bobber stopper (pegged) run it across the top so the paddle tail disturbed the water

I have 2 kastkings, legend and speed demon the legend is by far are better reel I love it!! I also have 2 diawa tatulas and 2 curados it’s not as good as those but very close! Had mine over a year no problems what so ever! Also use fluorokote line and love it too!
