Never heard of that place. Miley. Sounds like a place not to be. Some areas tend to shun outsiders. Good luck. 👍👍

I can tell you that is is a nice lake with some shore line fishing.it wasn’t crowded but there were a bunch of people there not fishing doing whatever.it is out of the way but not hard to get to .I don’t bother anyone and expect the same from people, butI will have a small chat with anyone fishing .you know the type that is short and questionable about luck that day

I'm from PA, I've heard about that lake from a few guys at my work. I won't go because I heard it was catch and release only, be careful of snakes though I have heard there are tons of them around that lake. Wish I had more info for you

Thanks for the heads up on snakes .after Nam I don’t worry to much about them I leave rather alone they leave me alone.it’s funny most of the lake and ponds I have fished in Pa are catch and release

Young boy came up to me and asked what do fish do in the heavy rain .he went on to say that he never caught fish in the rain.hence the question.where asI hooked into a nice size pickerel.I told him a lot of my beliefs but am curious as to what others have to say .please sarcasm need not needed since I turned the young lad onto this site .he is new to the game

Don’t bet against Mother Nature. Remember the gulf oil spill? It was the end of the gulf eco system. A year later between Mother Nature and man with the clean up it was like it never happened.
But I will blame the smaller fish I’ve been catching on Mother Nature!

I am going to say that the over fishing by China- Japan and other countries are having a big effect on size.

First of all,,,,,,,,, trout should not be put in a frying pan..... They should be released. I would hate to see you put a 5# brown in a frying pan.

Have you never eaten trout?they are very good to eat and healthy from what I,m told I release most of what I catch except a couple for dinner.

They often fit into a frying pan whole with the head off, and are often in the half pound to a pound range like big crappie which are absolutely still considered panfish.

No scales hence not a pan fish

Have any of y’all thought about letting a bass pull the line and run away to the (for lack of a better word) hiding spot, nest, school to figure out where to cast next? Just curious because it just popped into my head.

The problem with that is getting it out when you want to it will probably tangle the line on all types of things .unless your going to reach in and lip it out or cut the line and lose whatever you had on

Young little Plumbob was always eager to answer the teacher's questions, but she could never depend on what he might up and say. She was always hesitant about calling on him. One day, She had asked the class to make a sentence using the word fascinate. No one else held up their hand, so she finally had to call on Little Plum.

Plum said, "My sister got a new blouse. It had 10 buttons, but her tits were so big she could only fasten eight."

Like this one could vision that very clearly

if theres a place that looks like the perfect spot, and its private...get yourself to look respectable and go ask for permission to fish there. Promise not to leave anything behind, including cigarette butts if ya smoke, and even pick up trash if you see it lying aroundAnd be polite to the owner if they refuse you this time...cuz there miight be a next if the chance comes around.

I have done thatI. The past but it was in NY state some were okay some were not .I saw a place todayI will ask about
