[quote=Ron620DVS]PG 2-2

Most of the time when we are strolling these mud flats, we find and catch the bass in three to five feet of water, and in the wintertime, we have found that a Z-Man's green-pumpkin Finesse ShadZ affixed to either a 1/32-ounce or 1/16-ounce Gopher jig is the most effective lure to stroll.

Once we locate a significant concentration of cold-water largemouth bass of these shallow mud-flats, we stop strolling and begin wielding our other retrieves. And if there are three anglers in the boat, none of us use the same retrieve until we discern which of the five is the most alluring.

What is the best time(s) and lure(s) to fish for Walleye on the downstream corner of a Power Plant Building's Warm Water discharge?
Thanks, Dennis

No matter where you are, but especially north
Fishing is best below a dam right about now!
Water is warming up,
Post spawn and fish are active and HUNGRY

It's not about personal info, it's about knowing what part of the world we're talking about. We don't want to know your SSN or address, just a general location. If you want answers about your location... Information is a two way street.

Yes it was wasn't it. By having your city and state posted in your profile page. You'll not have to post it everytime. Believe it or not but there are people in this forum that don't know a whole lot about the country. Also what is a Peacock Bass? I know it's from the bass family but what does it look like? Can you post a picture? One thing, by having where your from automatically posted you'll get more responses that may help you. Just remember, don't show automatically, usually means no response, because readers see no area where you live, they move on. Don't even read your post.

The least amount of crap hanging off your line the more fish you catch. Period
Always try to tie your hook/lure directly to your line
Exceptions if you use a spinner or maybe a crank bait then a snapswivel is a good idea to keep line twist down

So a couple of years ago my son and I bought a 15 foot aluminum boat with a 20 horse outboard. Both are pretty old. We took it out a few times and then he got a girlfriend and didn’t have time to go fishing with Dad. Then I had both of my knees replaced and I never ended up taking it out last year.
There’s been gas in the tank for nearly two years. I’m pretty sure I put Stabil in the tank when I put the gas in. What are the chances that gas is okay?
If it’s bad, and it probably is, what do I need to do? Of course with this virus thing going on the county’s hazardous waste drop off is closed. I could sure use some advise on how to make sure I get this mess resolved.

To each his own. (no offense) There`s many professional fishermen that use BRAIDED LINE. One of the main pros of braid is there is no stretch. Look up Roland Martin on YouTube.

No stretch = broken rod
Braid line floats too so NO tight lines

How far is the first breaker usually?
What kind of rig do you use?
I’m from the North and only fresh water fish
But I’ve seen it done and would like to try sometime
