i will be launching my boat near albany NY today 2/29, unless you all advise me to go further south.
any good fish there?
if i cant catch any herring, i plan to try clams.
advice please? i have tried striper fishing a few times but havent had much luck

You should still have a few striped bass around even though the spawn is probably slowing down. Get out there while there are still fish around. If you can’t find any herring, try sand/ blood worms. Not that many clams that far up the river.

Ibclyde, if folks tell us what town and state they are located in, we have the capability to possibly help them out by way of putting them in contact with someone in the area they may reside in or want to fish.
Just like you letting us know you live in Wisconsin in the Menasha, & Shawano area. If someone posted that they wanted info on your area I would suggest they Pm you. Or if a newbie signed up in that area I would suggest the same.
