Hi. I am fishing on Lake Louisa in Clermont, FL and I have only had luck with lures a few times. Mostly, I am using hotdogs and catching catfish and sunfish with a few crappies. I want to catch some bass. Any ideas for what type of lure to use? I have tried jigs, worms, spinner bait, and different lures.

I've fished lake Louisa years ago and always had luck with Culprit June bug 6" Texas rigged. If all else fails shiner's are almost a guarantee.

I believe the 1st one is a crappie and the 2nd a sunfish. I am learning too. I am originally from Connecticut.

They both look like bluegills to me, the shape is right, but the colors are wrong. Are they bream? Warmouth? I'm pretty sure they're not crappie, neither one of em.
