If you couldn't afford multiple rods and only used one, what kind of line would you have?

Braid, Hybrid, Mono, Flouro?

I can't afford multiple rods (yet), what would you recommend for a 6'8 medium power fast rod and baitcaster?

I'm pretty new and fishing for whatever bites, but gravitated over the last couple years towards wacky rig senko, crank baits, top water (like popper, spook, jitterbug), frogs, and spinner baits.

If there a 'it's not perfect, but the best choice' type line you'd recommend?

you don't have to go so early. i usually fish b'tween 7am and noon. if i catching fish i will stay till the bite stops. when i fished tournaments we were n the water at 5.30am start fishing at 6(if you were caught early you are out)we fished till 2 pm that is an 8 hr day and tiring.

most of he fish i have caught have been shallow water from 2 to 12'. ask around first, find out if there are fish in there. i fished ponds and lakes under 7 acres and caught monsters.(5-7#). try it. good luck. Remember keep the waters clean.

i use falcon low rider rod 6'6 or 7' match up to aquantum reel. 12# test on spinning and 17 # test on bait casting. i

i fish slow and fish cover and rocky areas. big bass love lily pads and vegatation. spinner baits throw it in along weeds and let it drop than pick it up and brind it in, in an even reel in. good luck. hope it helps

i can tell you that maine lakes have big bass lm&sm. because the water is so clear they spook easily. you MUST BE REALLY quite. my biggest lm (10.25) was caught in maine aug, @ 2.30pm on sluggo golden shiner color. i fished tournaments and have caught b'tween 3.5 &5 lbs fish . my constant lure for big bass is frogs, spinners. senko type stik baits and most productive kalin 5" grub, chatruesse, blue, blk/red wtrmln. always go to bait when trying to get weight in tournaments, enjoy and good luck.

I just got a 2009 Nissan Frontier and the tires will need to be replaced as they are the originals with a 2008 data code (!). I tow a Bass Tracker infrequently so not much time pulling up boat ramps. Concrete ramps are typical.
Are you guys using All Terrain type tires, All Season, or what?
Thanks for your experiences.

i had a izuzu rodeo 4x4 with goodyear at. towed 18' fibreglass bassboat all over my east cost new england, never had any problems.
