From fortescue nj you’ll probably do better surf fishing anywhere from Avalon to cape may point.
Stripers moving south should be there soon . I’ve always done pretty good at island beach park but it’s a little further away . Good luck

I shopped for the boat you described.
I was set in a 21 Carolina when a seasoned boater recommended I check out Parker boats
Bought a 21SE with 150 Yamaha 4stroke. Rides well in moderate chop and capable of skinny water for crabbing etc. 10 yrs and no regrets. Used in Chesapeake bay where sea conditions can change quickly.
Good luck in you search.

If you’re willing to go through the tunnel to kiptopeke, there’s a state parK with a fishing pier that’s open 24 hours. I’ve fished there several times and caught flounder, blues and croaker. Nice relaxing place , bring, your beach chair. September should be good, the other day the water in Chesapeake bay was 87 degrees!
Seems to be a little too warm for good fishing.
Let me know how you make out.

I fish Virginia but on the eastern shore near Cape Charles.
I’ve been to sandbridge pier located on the Atlantic. Looked like a good place to fish.
Good luck

I recently bought a Suzuki 15 horse 4 stroke for 2500. Went with Suzuki since there are no,carbs to,gum up if not used frequently. I don’t think you’d go wrong with 400 for boat and trailer

I have an older lowrance HDS that works fine at lower speeds but I guess due to disturbed water I lose the depth finder portion. Hope you get it figured out

I hope they find him soon and that he gets what he deserves. Stay safe but remember the police sometimes don’t get there until after things happen.
Good luck

Bay City, MI Crime Rates & Map - AreaVibeswww.areavibes.com › bay+city-mi › crime
Key findings. Bay City crime rates are 13% higher than the national average; Violent crimes in Bay City are 84% higher than the national average;

Seems like a tough place to live. Some states have procedures in place for increased police presence and crime deterrence when there are crimes against the elderly. Try calling bay city social services and see if they can guide you or if they can force the city to have more police in your area.
Hang in there !

Wasp spray is a great item to carry with you in the car and when you are out fishing from shore or anywhere else.
It is a very effective device for self defense and not considered a weapon.
It’s also good for defense from wasps. Just sayin...

Nice catch, I fish out of Cape Charles during the summer.
When the travel restrictions are lifted I hope to get there again.
Have you ever fished from the red bank boat ramp seaside?

I think that’s a benefit of this website. The idea that the site can connect or point me in the right direction to be able to speak or message someone who fishes the same areas as I do is a great benefit.
I don’t think anyone should be upset by giving a general location of where they fish.
The object is to get help and info about fishing in YOUR GENERAL AREA.
