Thanks Insider for the info. Heading over from Spokane on Thursday. Looks like the timing might be good!
Check in with the MarDon store. They stay up to the minute with fishing reports and what's working. Should be good fishing for Walleye, Trout, Small and Large mouth bass, and panfish like crappie and perch. You have a boat or fishing from shore? From shore, Powerbait and/or worms work well for trout. Trolling, a #5 or #7 Flicker Shad in perch or fire tiger would be a good bet. Troll slow for walleye (0.8mph), faster for trout (1.5-3.0). If shore fishing or wanting to explore a little, there are dozens of good lakes nearby that are well worth fishing. Good luck!
Very similar to a Pro Troll lure for trout. Look up Pro Troll Trout Killers Size 1 & Size 2 Rigged. Looks like the difference is in the tail piece
I don't fish Lake Washington, but I agree with Hartwa's comments. I also use Trout Magnets (I use the Neon kit or the Panfish kit) which is split tail grub bodies tipped with Gulp Alive Waxies/Asticot, Pink or green seem to work well...With or without a float/bobber. Good Luck!
Wool socks for cold weather. No need for shoes. If your wader has boots built in you're set with just socks underneath. If your waders don't have built in boots, you need a pair of wader boots to wear over the stocking foot.
If its cold, I generally wear long jons under my jeans with my waders over the top. For extreme cold, I have a pair of Heavyweight wading pants I purchased from Cabela's. I like the strap that keeps your pants leg from "riding up" when you put your waders on
Several guides on the Snake, Lyons Ferry area. A bit away from Wenatchee. Perhaps contact one of the guides in the Lyons Ferry area and ask them if they know any guides in the area you're interested in. Lots of Salmon/Sockeye guides in the Wenatchee area that you might also ask.

Thank you. And I had a blast doin it!
Nicely done and a wonderful way to commemorate a fine memory!
I think it's pretty well frozen over, but not as positive about "safe" ice. I'd call MarDon resort store and get an update before I headed out if I were you
Might want to try fishing top water or even casting flies to keep you out of the soup.
Good idea. I've seen many times (especially on windy days) that my line is a better indicator of a bite than just watching the rod. I have a couple reels spooled with hi vis yellow just for that reason. Thanks for sharing
Good advice/reminders. Thanks for creating another informative thread to give us food for thought.
