Would somebody please give me some advice on finding Crappie in lake Washington and lake Union from the shoreline. Thank you very much.

Never fished it but crappie are simple.
Ron a yellow or white crappie jig.
I usually tip the hook with some worm.
Put a small bobber 2 to 3 foot above the jig.
Cast by trees or vegetation.
Pop the line a few times and let it set
And repeat.
Works great and easy to rig.
I usually use white with a red head

I don't fish Lake Washington, but I agree with Hartwa's comments. I also use Trout Magnets (I use the Neon kit or the Panfish kit) which is split tail grub bodies tipped with Gulp Alive Waxies/Asticot, Pink or green seem to work well...With or without a float/bobber. Good Luck!

Thanks Hartwa. My problem is that I can't find them crappie. We used to fish crappie just outside of Baker Oregon. Had good luck at the reservoir out there

You can make or but it, but I take a piece of chamois skin, cut it into small strips, and cut a tail into one end of it. Soak it and keep it in an eggs jar filled with olive oil and a small amount of anise in it.
Bait the head of it onto your hook, and have fun catching Crappie.
You can add a bit of worm on the bottom of the hook.

I make several bottles of it at a time. Sometimes I boil the chamois, and it will make it softer and also whiter.

They like shallow warm water with lots of vegetation. Cold weather they are hard to get
