If you don't wet the knot (any knot) before pulling it tight, you may be burning the line, thus weakening it and causing the knot to fail.

I'm looking into buying a foldup trailer for my Sea Eagle Stealth Stalker STS10 inflatable. 10 ft long, about 48 in wide. The foldups at Harbor Freight have quite a few negative reviews. Anyone have experience with them?

Small world!!! I retired USNavy in 1978 as a Chief ET! I also still have dreams about being back in the Navy - usually good ones. But I don't miss it - it's been too long. Went to Viet Nam in 1968 to 1971 on 2 different ships, but not real combat situations.

Check out the Cuda 3" Titanium Bonded Micro Scissor on Amazon for $5.77. I bought 2 pair, and they cut braid clean every time...after time....after time!

Seriously...check out the Sea Eagle Stealth Stalker STS10 inflatable. It's a great boat! Pricey, but worth it. It's roomy enough for two people plus gear.

I've got a Sea Eagle Stealth Stalker STS10 and love it! 2-Person craft with a wood floor that lets you stand up to fish. Very stable. Have a a Minn Kota 45lb thrust 36 inch shaft trolling motor on it which is plenty of power to last all day fishing and moving often.
