I’m pretty sure it’s made by Creek Chub Lures, ( cray fish) I have one, mine is yellow with black and red spots. Tight lines.

What line or thread is preferred for re-wrapping new guides to rods? I have used black synthetic sewing thread and coated it with epoxy, but there must be something I’m missing. I’m usually missing something.

I replaced one guide on one of my bass carbon lite rod and I used power pro 10 lb braid and coated it it with clear nail polish. It worked out great for a quick repair. Tight lines.

Yes you can tie braid direct to your lure, most all braid brands recommend using the Polamar knot. That’s the knot I use and I never had any issues, tight lines.

What kinda lure is this. What might you catch with it. How do you fish it. Unscramble this lure maker. DOHDEN

It’s a hula popper made by Arbogast, Arbogast also makes the jitter bug, probably the best top water lures ever made. I caught a lot of bass and pike on these great lures, tight lines.

Thanks for the input, my initial thought was a spawning ritual also. The big boy wanted to get lucky.

Yesterday a friend and I were fishing on Leaser lake in NE PA we came around the island and we saw a musky swimming with his head out of the water at a 45 degree angle going in circles. We thought something was wrong with it ,maybe some line was wrapped around it or something so we tried to net it so we could help it, when we got close with the net it took off like nothing was wrong, this musky was around 40". It resurfaced a couple of times and did the same thing and then it went under. I have never seen this happen before. Does anyone have any theories as to why these muskys do this? Tight lines

Please let us know what the embassy has to say. Thanks

I called the Embassy this morning and they told me they did not know when the border would open. Later on today I got a message from one of the guys going on this trip and he heard on MSN that the border was going to be closed till at least June 21st. We booked this trip two years ago to get to this premier lake, this sucks. Tight lines.

How are all you guys doing? We have a trip planned to fly into a great lake in Quebec on June 10th. Just wondering if anyone heard any news of the opening of the Canadian border. I know as of this moment it is closed at least till May 20th. Thanks in advance for any information. Tight lines to all.

Yes, you can click the step by step procedure for any knot you want to tie, I think it’s an awesome site.
