We will be fishing for trout in a lake and yes we have a boat. We will be fishing at lake Aeroflex. Looks like its around a hundred feet deep and one of the few lakes in NJ that will hold trout and salmon..
Sorry for the confusion Thanks.....

Wow that's some patience you have. 11 to 4 and nothing? Then the next 1 1/2 hours you were rewarded. Fantastic!!!! You have been blessed.

He’s a great kid. We had a blast trying all different lures that we have to watch how they move in the water and using different retrieval methods.
We He did get a few little sunnies and he caught this one and we both said now that’s cool looking. Anyone know what it is??

This past Saturday we went out about 11am and fished till 6pm and they didn’t start biting till 4 pm. Then all hell broke loose we were pulling them in almost every cast then it totally stoped at around 5:30. Like some one flipped a switch. Nothing big but we had a blast!!!

With all the rain we got here in NJ yesterday I decided to head to my local sport shop to look around.. So I was thinking about a new reel for a wile so I asked about one.. Told him what I do and he showed me a few different ones but I said they are all heavy compared to my bate caster..He showed me the Carbon X 2000..Wow what a reel! Comes in at just over 5oz and I got to play tonight for a wile after work..I have to say well worth the money. Very nice reel and casts very nice and super smooth..
I never had a good reel to speak of but have to say I’m glad I spent the money for it..

I got on on Amazon. $40 bucks and works great.. I thought about the phone app but It would be expensive if I dropped it in the water..

Went out with my grandson yesterday and tried out a few new baits. Well fished with them for about 20 min each and nothing..Switched over to my red raddle trap and on his first cast he got one..
After that nothing lol.

How about this ? (Left to right) - N/W - S/W - Mid-west/north - Midwest/ south - Central/north -
Deep South - N/E - Mid-Atlantic - (Georgia /Florida could be deep south or South Atlantic) - Since some areas have certain species specific to their areas, wouldn't this make things a little easier to 'divvy-up ' as regions ?

This is good but would like to add salt or fresh water to that list..
