You guys are awesome and thanks for the comments. I was out and had 2 ultra lite setups using small jigs. Had a couple bumps but didn’t hook up. I wasn’t expecting to catch anything but had to pause to catch one of God’s creations, that made my day!

Good morning y’all! Currently it’s 29 and clear feels like 21 with a high of 56. I’d really like to be hunting this morning but have a doctors appointment. Have a good one and keep em tight!

Update on my wife Jeanne. They did another CT scan on her and found a mass in her right upper lobe and ordered a biopsy. Came back not cancer but aren’t sure how to treat it. She’s on antibiotics hoping it will help shrink it. She has an appointment with an infectious disease specialist on the 22nd. It is serious and really needs your prayers. We are praying for y’all too.

45 and cloudy this morning with a high of 66. We got some much needed rain yesterday, a whopping 81 hundreds of an inch but we’ll take it. We’ve been a drought all summer. The cracks in the fields are 2-3” wide. We really need a about 3 inches of gentle rain to seal them cracks.

I don’t drink coffee but have always enjoyed the smell of fresh brewed coffee or the smell of opening a new can of coffee. It’s the little things in life that we take for granted that makes you smile. Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses life brings your way. Good one Wulffy.

I love deer hunting in the fog, they are like ghosts and will definitely jump start your old heart when they show up 10 yards away! Getting to your stand can be a real challenge though, without a compass you could end up where you started.
