Murfy's Law. Berkeley makes some artificial sand worms that work well also. Six inchers. Break em in half if you're fishing for perch.

I've generally had pretty good luck harvesting my own, but just in case
I always carry some Berkeley artificials. They work about as well as the real ones. And they last longer.

I four of you get down there you could play euchre.😊🍺😊🍺

I grew up playing euchre. My grandpa's euchre partner (my grandma) died when I was 9, so guess who got to replace her? He was a harsh master. If I screwed up he would turn the table over on me. Only happened like twice. I learned pretty quickly.

Visit YouTube. Look for "how to catch sand crabs". Lots available and you will see how easy it is. Good luck.

Wife and I started getting Hallmark ornaments in 1968, the year we were married. We stopped buying them several years ago because we started receiving them as gifts. They can be a good investment, you just never know.

The Eel River is right there beside Fortuna. Get over to a bait shop or sporting goods store and talk to those folks. This time to year I don't know what's running, but they will. Lots of good places to fish up there.
