Hey Jeremy, so sorry to hear this.
I'm so glad and luck I got to meet him, fish and break bread with him as well.
Thanks for letting us know. I didn't even know he was ill or anything.

Yes Sir he did. A US Navy Sailor. He worked on an Aircraft operating instruments to locate submarines. He was the only man in his workgroup that was allowed to talk to the pilot. Everyone that was at the Norcal Meet and greet that had dinner at the campground got to hear his many awesome jokes.
Jim was a State Of Oregon Fishing expert and Volunteer for helping people and especially children learn how to fish.
He recently made a Prime Rib and his famous BBQ'd Pork Ribs for his family Saturday and Sunday.

I talked to Jim on Christmas Eve. We were trying to start planning a Lingcod / Rockfish trip on the Pacific Ocean. He told me he got all the grandkids some really neat gifts this year but would be able to go in about a month. Jim was a very giving and selfless person. He made the best Biscuits and Gravy from scratch I ever had. I am really serious. All of his grandchildren and his family are really fun I am very grateful to of had a great friend and family time with all of them at Loon Lake Oregon.

To all of my Dad’s Fishing Buddies! Thank you for the joy you brought to him. He loved talking about and going fishing with all of you. You provided much needed friendship in his life. Thank you

Jim helped many earn Eagle Scout.
Jim has been helping one of his grandchildren build a garden at a local school 5 raised beds and installing pathways.
