I thought i would let you know that there are some good deals on real Christmas trees today.

I went by the Dewy Cheatum's Christmas Tree Stand and they had real Christmas trees on sale. They were 25% off, but I finagled a deal and got one for 50% off. I'm lucky I got one because they said they'd all be gone tomorrow.

I'm off looking for more after Christmas sales.

Just in time for building Christmas tree forts. Anyone remember doing that?

That's cool Cam, they worked great on that occasional white Christmas we used to get for snow ball fights.

They used to give them away when I lived in NYC. Happy with my $50 one this year considering most were $80-90.

And a pretty $ 50.00 tree it is at that Kandy. And each ornament may have unspoken memories upon them too.

I figured as much Kandy. All our stuff is from the wife's life time with a few of our memories and every year I hear a new story from her child hood days.

Never gets old listening to someone's memories in how things used to be.

We get an ornament from a local pottery shop with the year on it each year. Our anniversary is December 19 so we celebrate with a new ornament for the tree. The first one is 1975. The tree still has room for more.
