We have a place in Lakeside And one in Windy Bay. Been wanting to fish small mouth near Reedsport
Any advice?
Recently in Madera California on Montreal street an intruder broke into a home. The occupant and the intruder got in a physical altercation. Law enforcement was called and responded over 20 minutes after the call. The intruder was found dead, the occupant tried rescue efforts. A murder investigation is underway now.
I don’t get it at all.

I haven’t fished in Louisiana since the 1980’s when I was stationed at Ft Polk but fishing was good everywhere we tried.
Toledo bend was amazing fishing.
Welcome to fishing stage. On the Kings river right before Pineflat dam if you fish a salmon egg under the bridge right before the trimmer store you’ll get trout.
Cast up stream let it drift down, reel in and repeat. I’ve caught a lot of trout there. There is a nice fishing spot just to the east side of the bridge.

JB weld will seal it up or have it tig welded and it’ll never leak again.
The rivets loosen up and they leak. Make sure it’s clean and dry. Blow out the cracks with an air nozzle. Sand it then JB weld. It’ll hold. Use the quick weld type.

We have a home on the lake and have caught some really nice trout as well as cut throat.
As the weather cools down the trout fishing gets better.
The County park has a nice fishing dock and right now the Perch fishing is still hot off of the dock

I contacted Salmon Harbor Tackle, Stockade market and Sportsman’s Cannery in Winchester Bay. Commercial Salmon fishing was stopped.
River and bay non-commercial is the current regulations. No reports of large numbers of fish have been reported.
I’m hoping by the time I’m back in October that the fishing picks up.

We fished Salmon Harbor and the Umpqua in Reedsport last month and didn’t get a bite. I was wondering if anyone has caught any Salmon yet.
I’m sure that the crabbing has picked up and the Salmon should be starting to come up stream but there has been any real rain yet so I was curious. We’ll be back in October so I was just curious.
I usually call Stockade market for a report right before we head to our house.

I think Yellow perch taste like crab. It’s really a sweet fish.
