Fall Salmon in Winchester Bay Oregon

Good afternoon,
We fished Salmon Harbor and the Umpqua in Reedsport last month and didn’t get a bite. I was wondering if anyone has caught any Salmon yet.
I’m sure that the crabbing has picked up and the Salmon should be starting to come up stream but there has been any real rain yet so I was curious. We’ll be back in October so I was just curious.
I usually call Stockade market for a report right before we head to our house.
It’s 2 blocks from the Harbor
The Cozy Crab cottage and we rent it out through Vacasa when we’re not there.

I contacted Salmon Harbor Tackle, Stockade market and Sportsman’s Cannery in Winchester Bay. Commercial Salmon fishing was stopped.
River and bay non-commercial is the current regulations. No reports of large numbers of fish have been reported.
I’m hoping by the time I’m back in October that the fishing picks up.

it's really all about the water temperature in the river. until the fall rains start and cool the river, the salmon fishing will be very slow

I heard the water temp is warm.
Good news is they say the small mouth bass fishing is amazing.
I was told Brandy Bar is the place to fish them.
