TB.... a little practice and you'll love your baitcaster. Just don't be like me when you are fishing three from your boat and the guy in the middle is s rookie with no awareness of rod position and use. I just put my rod up for the day (see pic).

That all depends on who is doing the catching. If it is Orcas doing the catching, I don't see them releasing you, however, I could be wrong.

My response to that is if the orcas are fishing,I sure as heck aint swimming!!!

Orcas are catch and release only😁

Would also suggest a large bait like seals and pretty sure the Orca will self release after its eaten the seal.

I just met a fine young man while enjoying a nice Baileys and coffee at my local tavern. We had great conversation He told me that he was looking to volunteer for work in the education field to help with his Résumé I felt that he was very sincere. I told him that my daughter is a director for Catholic charities in our area and that they are always looking for volunteers. I put him in contact with her. Hopefully it will work out, when we were about to depart we shook hands. He told me that he liked the strength in my handshake and it told him that I was sincere. I told him that my dad told me along time ago that if you shake a woman’s hand pretend that it’s your mothers hand. If you shake a man’s hand, shake it like he’s your best friend. !!!!

A firm handshake is all fine and dandy unless like myself arthritis is present and then it hurts like heck, especially if the other individual feels like he has to show how strong he is.

Never tried fishing squid myself but seen it done, suggest going down to the pier in the evening when it starts getting dark,if you see a bunch of lights out on the pier you'll probably have your answer.

Your words ring true👍🙏

Its funny where a simple comment goes,I post that political and correctness are two words that shouldn't be used together and talk about stirring up a hornets nest, and then religion gets thrown in as well, the keyboard is mightier than the sword. LOL

Christmas has always been a celebration that has meant different things to different people and had been celebrated differently by different people but in this country traditionally it has always had a religious undertone however with the rise of political correctness and a growing population that are not followers of Jesus and/ or do not come from a Christian background Christmas celebration is on the decline.

I question the term political correctness, those are two words that should never be used together.

Thank you for the advice. He has a heater on board to warm our hands. No sure if I should go with heavy waders with boot feet or my bib rain pants and Extratuff boots.

Suggest waders should you have to get out of boat for any reason

Where on the Sky do you fish.
Was going to head to Snohomish, Tokul Creek and see what might be biting there.

I like fishing the Reiter hatchery, both upstream and downstream of the outlet stream if your familiar with the location
