I just met a fine young man while enjoying a nice Baileys and coffee at my local tavern. We had great conversation He told me that he was looking to volunteer for work in the education field to help with his Résumé I felt that he was very sincere. I told him that my daughter is a director for Catholic charities in our area and that they are always looking for volunteers. I put him in contact with her. Hopefully it will work out, when we were about to depart we shook hands. He told me that he liked the strength in my handshake and it told him that I was sincere. I told him that my dad told me along time ago that if you shake a woman’s hand pretend that it’s your mothers hand. If you shake a man’s hand, shake it like he’s your best friend. !!!!

Christmas has been attacked from from any different angles over the years. It had been attacked
for being to commercialized, for being to "religious", for being to "secular", for emphasizing Jesus to much, for emphasizing Santa clause to much, for waisting to much energy on lights, and for lack of lights. Christmas has always been a celebration that has meant different things to different people and had been celebrated differently by different people but in this country traditionally it has always had a religious undertone however with the rise of political correctness and a growing population that are not followers of Jesus and/ or do not come from a Christian background Christmas celebration is on the decline.
