by trigger I'm assuming your talking about a Zebco type, which I LOVED and kinda miss since I was a kid and teen ager. I always looked at Bail type reels and said (to my self) ...of course. Okay yeah I talk to my head. I can't wait to own one of those! Bait casting reels are my nemesis! Oooops got off track there for a second but, anyway whatever you're comfortable with and cathin' fish with is totally okay by me!
Enjoy our chosen sport and keep on Catchin'!

A retirement job is great if you can set your own hours. I worked two days a week for the DNR, retired when Marion got health issues. Loved it. Enjoy it bk!

First THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE! I know you said you had the Professional title and job of teacher not a military job but, I'm of the opinion that we should always thank our teachers as well. The way I think, we wouldn't be able to read how cool your "Dream Job" came about or this FANTASTIC forum if we didn't have teachers! I'm a little jealous to be honest. I've had a couple set back since retiring from Xerox health wise (strokes2X) but, I would not only LOVE but, CHERISh the opportunity to work in a Tackle Shop! Tell Mike I said hello and he made a AWESOME choice in hiring a teacher! I wish my tackle shop had a teacher! Walmart is pretty much self serve and guess... Good for you, stay SAFE and enjoy your new well deserved life!
Thanks again because I truly envy and admire the teaching industry!
Your friend in fishing and "KEEP on Cathin"!

First of all that photo is Gorgeous! It's one I definitely would print! Maybe send it as your Christmas card next year with the caption, " Wish you were here "!!!
God bless you and your Kayak and fishing equipment. We're forecasted for 12 to 18 inches of snow here in the next two days. It's going to be a long cold winter and Spring doesn't really get going till May here.

I am a serious fisherman. Tarpon, bone, permit, reds, snook and yes bass and blue gills. If you fish with me be prepared to get tired and almost always wet. My favorite type of fishing is wading on the flats or various rivers. Some people like the word hunting to better describe the experience. I guess that works. But it's still missing the total experience. I have learned that 80% of all fish that are caught are in 10% to 20% of the fishing areas. Not only do you have to find these spots but then figure out your bait, presentation, equipment, etc. My greatest joys are fishing in new areas and trying to figure out where they are. So I will try to come up with a good name that reflects my experiences. Since I never keep a fish that I caught its like I am trying to put food on the table. So help me out. I am all ears.

I can’t express enough the great satisfaction I have received when I introduced my three children to fishing. Many great times were had and I still enjoy fishing with my adult children, 2 sons and a daughter. Now I have the experiences of teaching my grandchildren. It is a sport, hobby, pastime they all can enjoy for years to come. Therefore, my reason for this post. I am so proud of my oldest son, a teacher, who has started a high school ice fishing team and also teaches several fishing classes during the school year to his students. My son takes many students fishing on a nearby lake as a part of their studies. Fishing will pay dividends in the years to come to so many. Tight lines everyone!!!

16 in 4 hours comes out to 1 fish every 15 min. Lol.
