Buy them directly from Leland Baits. 50 bodies for $4.99 and jig heads are 25 for about $6.50. I love them. The crappie magnets are bigger than trout magnets. Personally, I have better luck on the trout magnets. The bodies in pink/white and chartreuse/orange are great for panfish.

Thank you so much for your informed input. Very helpful and very appreciated. Gerry

Heading to the Texas Gulf Coast this Summer. Since I dislike burning in the hot Texas sun I thought about taking a couple party boat outings. The family can enjoy the beach. Was wondering about what rod and reel would be good on such an outing? Any Suggestions? Gerry

Wow: Happy to see your request. I have the same problem in that I also need a fishing partner in the Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania. It is too bad when we get older we tend to lose our friends to infirmities or worse. I am 78 and still love to hit a safe bank a fish. Gerry

Good ole earthworms is a good start. Lace them on a # 02 circle hook and put it on the bottom. Look up catfishing on YOU TUBE. There are a ton of instructional videos there. GT

It is puzzling why people do not take catfishing as a legitimate sport. No, we do not cast the lines as much or have as many pretty toys as the bass boys. But it still takes a viable skills and knowledge to consistently catch ole whiskers. And i'll put some deep fried catfish against other freshwater fish for flavor any day,
