Looking for a fishing partner

I normally don't do things like this but I am looking for a fishing partner. I live in ohio about an hour away from michigan. I know this sounds kind of strange especially for a 38 year old adult. I am not looking for tournament reasons but if someone needs a partner for a weekend tournament I would be happy to help. I am looking more for a person to just go fishing with from time to time. Doesn't matter if it's on a boat, kayak, or even just sitting on a bank just hanging out fishing and telling stories. I am basically just a guy who loves to fish and want to fish with other people and not just by myself all of the time. My wife comes with me from time to time but it's more because she just wants to get out of the house. Anyone in the ohio area or michigan interested?

I’m on the near west side of Cleveland and I’d love to go fishing with you some time. We are similar age I’m 44. Don’t have many friends who fish anymore. How far are you from Cleveland? Maybe we could meet in the middle?

J I am a couple of hours away from cleveland. I live near findlay. But I am not scared to drive a couple of hours to go fishing. I go walleye fishing in cleveland several times a year every year. I will be more than happy to meet with you in cleveland and do some fishing

Sounds great. I’m not afraid to drive a bit either. I plan to have a boat in the next month and could use some help slaying some spring walleyes.🤞🏻 PM me and we can exchange phone numbers.

I would be interested live 15 minutes west of Defiance. I need lots of pointers. Normally fish with my 19 year old daughter. We try to Kayak fish paddle and bank fish. I just started fishing with her last year. Not many catches but love to try.

Wow: Happy to see your request. I have the same problem in that I also need a fishing partner in the Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania. It is too bad when we get older we tend to lose our friends to infirmities or worse. I am 78 and still love to hit a safe bank a fish. Gerry

Right on, Garryt! I'm 76 and I think what I hear Aaron saying is that he's looking for a fishing "Buddy". Someone who you can share time with and connect to.I've been extremely lucky because I've had several fishing "buddies" over the years. They come and they go for various reasons. From my Dad in my early years all the way to now and I have a neighbor who's just retired and we're doing an every Tuesday thing. Aaron what you're looking for is surely out there, BUT, they're hard to find. Trail and error is the answer. Keep trying and GOD LUCK, my friend! And remember to enjoy the time alone, too.
