wow thats awesome we are still in first place in our monday night dogfights but not nearly that much weight. we have around 75lbs for 16 weeks with only one fish last week and none last night
people say 3/16 is too light for a bait caster but i fish a tournament every monday night using a 3/16 texas rig and sometimes i will throw a weightless senko on a baitcaster no need for a spinning reel.
We fish on monday nights from 6-9 on indian creek in louisiana from april thru august. this past monday was a great night pulled up on a hump and caught a 7.5 right away then some smaller keepers. Moved to another spot and caught a 6.5. we only weigh in 3 fish and had 15.71 for the night came in first and had big bass.
yeh not fun but ive done it yanking a treble hook out of finger really sucks. Worse i ever saw was my sister, we were fishing in she got a crankbait snagged in a tree and when she jerked it free it came back and hit her hand. bad thing was one of the hooks of treble broke off and was buried in her finger and we couldnt see it. they had to do surgery cutting finger open to remove it
my truck camper has a rack on the top so i used the frame on the inside to mount some boards and i put some straps to hold rods just like strap in a boat
