Welcome!
Lures I have had success with in that area are white DB 16, wiggle warts, and some stick baits.
Never hurts to throw out a bobber with a minnow on it while casting.
Send some photos.

Tks for the update!
Sounds like you ate well that night.

Welcome to the Ozarks.
I fish walleye south of LOZ in Bull Shoals.
Those techniques used elsewhere will work just fine.
Now to locate the Walleye.
Let me know how it goes.
Hey FB86!
Was wondering the same thing.
I fish Felliws here north of Spfld. Without any luck.
Not a walleye population in there
like in Stockton.
Water temp was still low at 45 last week.
I was slow trolling deep cranks.
Keep me posted on how you’re doing.

Hey TRB!
Love those smiles!
Good to get out.
Caught my biggest bass outta TR this time of yr.
Spooning.
What was water temp when you were out?
Still 42 degrees on Fellows just north of Spfld.

Welcome David.
You’ve got a lot options in this area.
As mentioned, it’s spring time and the bite will be on.
Even sitting in a boat with your wife catching crappie.

Hey JPS!
Now you’re on it.
Plenty of big fish there in Stockton.
The other comments pretty much sum it up.
Only other advice,
is dial the knobs as hard as the get, ease them off as you get familiar, practice.
Can’t beat a good baitcaster.
Hope you’re not out today, winds howling here in Springfield.

Hey Flytier!
Nice fish!
Great hearing about the hunt,
Grew up fishing Bowers and Indian River inlet.
Way to stick it out, fish til the bait runs out.

Hey MoJoe!
Great info.
I see why they call the musky
“the fish of 10.000 casts”!!
I’ve been stuck in 9,999 for a while.
In Fellows, this yr. the fishing was slow,
few bass, no musky, I did catch a few catfish.
Think I’ll stick to Pomme de Terre for a while.
Beautify day today.
Out I go👍
Tight lines!
Anyone having any luck catching Musky here in SW MO?
Water temps about 51.
No luck here.
