Taneycomo is full of rainbow and brown trout. I mainly fish for them. A lot of people are having fun catching some nice bass so I invested in some tackle and will give that a try. Bull shoals lake is only a few miles down the road and when the White Bass run in the spring I will trailer the boat and spend time down there. Sometimes it just depends on who Iā€™m fishing with as to what I fish for. I put most everything back in the lake.

Sounds like you have a good plan there John. Share some pictures of your catch if you don't mind. We enjoy seeing what people catch in there area.

I'm close to Forsyth and mostly fish Taneycomo and Bull Shoals. I'm hoping we have steady rains without last year's flooding. I'm going to add Table Rock and fish more tributaries this year.
