Watch the weather forecasts on tv or internet. Use your judgement, the further you go from the launch the more waves you will deal with going back. Predominant winds are sw but this time of year east winds can be deadly. Wear your seat belt.

Go to Ifish on internet and search Garibaldi. Trolling in the bay and mouths of rivers for salmon and steelhead. Ask clerks at Tillamook tackle across from Fred Meyer.
I agree with previous message. I have had both hips replaced and it really works. Just listen to your physical therapist and you will be glad you did it.

Welcome to the forum. I would not recommend fishing on jetty rocks at age 65+. I am 81, stopped trying to climb on rocks 20 years ago. Go for the surf perch.
