kscatfisherman. Thanks for responding. I have never
posted a picture on the forum, however I do have some. I will gather them up and try to send them to you on this forum. But with my limited tech knowledge, I may have to send the pics via text message. Please bear with me.

Welcome to the forum Lynn. I’m from Texas, but did a 2-day float trip on the South Fork of the Snake River in mid- August. If you are into fly fishing, this was truly amazing. Scenery in South Fork canyon is incredible and the trout very cooperative. Used the Orvis guides out of the fly shop in Victor, ID.

CHS, I live in Crystal Beach on the Bolivar Pennisula. It is currently 4:00 p.m. Oct. 3rd. I have just come from the beach where some of my friends are fishing for bulls and have been the past few days. So far today they have only caught one bull. They are flying the bait out with a drone 400-800 feet. A day or 2 ago they caught 4 I believe. If you wade past the 1st bar or in between the 1st and 2nd you can cast beyond the second depending on the wind. The fishing just isn’t too hot unless you get several hundred feet out. Hope this helps

Having trouble deciding whether to purchase a Frameless Pontoon Boat 285fpb or the Stealthstalker STS10.
Those that have either one of these what are your pro and cons.

Thanks,

kscatfishfisherman, crystalbeachbum here. I have a Sea Eagle STS10. Due to the effects of cancer, I am forced to sell this incredible boat. As I’m sure you know, Sea Eagle is a top of the line inflatable. Due to sickness and other factors, this boat has only been in the water 4 times. When not in use the boat has been neatly packed away in storage. Because of it lack of use and care in storage this boat is in PERFECT LIKE NEW CONDITION.
Basic cost of this boat was $1250.00. Included is nearly every accessory available from Sea Eagle at a cost of just over $2000.00. Also included is a Minn-Kota Riptide 55 V/T Salt-
water transom mount 55# thrust trolling motor. Cost $420.00. To power the motor is a $215.00 AGM deep cycle battery. All of the above was purchased in mid 2017. This boat comfortably seats 2 people on fold back pedestal mounted swivel seats. Of course it has a solid floor and you can stand up in it, however at our age, you may not care to do that. It is extremely stable and really a blast to operate. My intent was to modify a little 4x6 trailer I have to haul it around when I’m home. When we are traveling, it fits nicely underneath in our motor home or in the back of our Jeep Cherokee. It also has the cart wheels which work very well for launching and retrieving. If you think you might be interested, answer back and we will arrange for pics, etc. Thanks

Well,,,,,,,,,,, it's good to be a cancer survivor, but it would be nice to use your boat again, you can't win them all and you won the big one. Congrats! Welcome to the Forum!

Hey guys (and gals), not sure how to do this or if you are allowed to.....but
I have, from time to time, seen folks asking about inflatable boats. I bought a top of the line Sea Eagle STS10 10’ inflatable 3 years ago with every accessory available, a $400+ Minn Kota saltwater trolling motor and a $200+ AGM battery. I only used it 4 times before having to battle cancer. Won that fight, but left me unable to use the boat. Just tried and I cain’t do it. Would be interested in talking to someone who might be in the need for such a boat, but don’t know if one can advertise on the forum (but guess I already did) or how to communicate with someone that might be interested. Suggestions please. Y’all have a great day and hope you catch some fish

You forgot going to the drive in movie and not even putting the speaker in the window. And smooching with your girlfriend till all the windows fogged up. Or putting 2 or 3 of your buddies in the truck and sneaking them in. Of course I never did any of that. When I was pumping gas it was .18 cents a gallon. Never knew my dad to put in more than a dollar’s worth. Yes sir, we had it made and didn’t know it.

I have a Sea Eagle STS10 - 10’ inflatable with a big AGM battery and a Minnkota 55# thrust Riptide salt water trolling motor that will run all day. The material is 1000 Denier which is really tough. I believe it would really be tough to stick a fish hook thru it. It has floorboards for stand up fishing and is very very stable. Also 2 pedestal 360 degree seats, a canopy, oars, a 12v electric pump. I got all the accessories. So it’s up to you....you get what you pay for. The Sea Eagle is top of the line, very rugged, very safe, but a little pricey. Don’t remember exactly, but all together I’ve got like $23-2500 in my rig. But you don’t necessarily need all the goodies either. Good luck in you search

As I recall playing the game,
seems like we would start at our
ankle or knee and progress upward to hand, elbow, etc. with the final being the top of ones head. I too have read the story about the Indians wanting to kill a buffalo one last time. Sad indeed.
Folks don’t realize how important the Buffalo was to the Indians. It was deeply rooted in their entire everyday life, customs and spirituality. It provided nearly 100% of they very existence.
They never killed more than they needed and used EVERY single part of the animal. The sad thing is this...(and most people don’t know this) the Buffalo was systematically exterminated to deprive the Indians of their #1 source of food to force them
onto the reservations. The US government hired Buffalo hunters who, using 50 cal.’rifles would kill them by the THOUSANDS day after day. The rifles having such long range accuracy allowed the hunters to remains virtually in the same place all day long, because unless something frightens a Buffalo, they won’t run, even if herd mates are dropping like flies around them. By this time the Buffalo robe or coat had gone out of style from what it had been earlier in the century and had no value. Therefore the carcasses lay where they fell to become a landscape of bleached bones. Sad in so many ways.

Yes sir Big A, it does make it more interesting. This bison herd roams freely in Caprock Canyons State Park near Quitaque, TX which is near Turkey, TX the home of Bob Wills. The park has miles of roads & trails and often times the bison are near the campground where one can observe these magnificent animals up close. We had to wait for them to cross the road before we could get in. Caprock Canyons is only a few miles from Palo Duro Canyon State Park and the topography and beautiful red rocks are very similar in both places. When the Indians rustled cattle in the mid 1800’s they often times would drive them into Palo Duro and simply disappear. The pioneers knew nothing about this canyon which lies on the eastern edge of the Llano Estacado, a vast treeless plain which covers more than 35,000 sq. mi. One day while hunting strays, Goodnight stumbled onto this vast canyon. Having steep sides with very few places to the bottom, there was a river (The Prairie Dog Fork of the Red River), abundant grass, and
protection from the harsh winter winds of the Texas Panhandle. This is where he started his ranch and began a long career in breeding and developing cattle.
