Hi Ali
I do a lot of trout fishing but I fly fish. Now in the fall is a great time to fish. Trout like cold water. I know a lot of people use spinners / worms. I usually go to a fly shop or fishing store in the local area and they will most often tell me what bait and where they are biting. Use the locals can really help.
Being a guide or boat captain can be difficult. Before you start you better know your area better than most. Some customers really want those fish and as we know a lot of times they just don’t bite. Good customer skills is very very important. If they still have a good time and don’t catch fish they are ok with it most of the time.
If your using it in salt water rinse with fresh water after you use it. If fishing fresh water still rinse it. It will last for years.
Like Ron said.
Those engines were not made to run on Gas with ethanol. Lots of people have problems with engines and that should be the first thing to change.
I fly fish constantly. Much rather than spinning rod but that’s just my preference. Have fun either way
The Horrocks Ibotson company was around for over 100 years. I believe they started in 1812 and went up to about WWII.
The cascade is more common and normally sell for $200 to 225. If it has all the decals on it it can be worth a whole lot more to a collector
Hope this helps
Gene
Fish don’t know what your using. Yes they will work fine for what they are.
Older rod so not so much flex as new ones but they certainly work
If Dr Seuss caught them it would be 1fish 2 fish 3 fish 4.
Yep fished it a lot. Mostly right out of Heber above Provo. Good parking
Better check regulations. WD40 May be illegal in your area
