Everybody needs to have a good laugh sometimes. And you can be counted on for one or some. Keep it up.

I don't spend a lot of time on my funeral. I just want to make sure that every thing is in order. I have been hoping that the crappie run will pretty much be on schedule this spring. That is one of the highlights of my life. I feel that life is a bout living and I am going to spend most of.my time fishing and gardening. And when the Death Angel comes, I am sure I will need a little more time to complete some task I'll have going on; whether it's sowing something or trying out one of my favorite fishing holes. As I see it, I had nothing to do with my coming and I don't believe I'll have much to do with my leaving . I am just passing through. And I thank God for my journey .

You seem to be able to make a good assessment of your capabilities. That day will come to all of us.
On the other hand, sometimes timing of day,, how we feel about getting out there, etc. can make all the difference. Wish you luck.

Just amazing! I am up early to get my fresh collard greens with tops and bottoms cooked together with ham hocks. The sides will be twice baked sweet potato and cornbread muffins. The drink, of course will be sweet tea or kool-aid; which ever is easiest. It's great down south. Good food, good people, good fishing and don't forget: good hunting. The tops and bottoms are the rutas..weather is not so great right now.

Yeah, I have heard the same thing about that thing. I don't eat the armadillo either. It's enough catfish around these parts. I guess I am not that adventurous .

Where did you find that God had cleaned the snake for you to eat? Just asking. Even, if I made the mistake of thinking that rattle snakes were clean enough to eat, I would not eat one. In the American cuisine there are too many other desirable things to eat. And besides, look how it slithers on the ground; picking up every germ and parasite. Really, wouldn't you rather have a chicken sandwich? Jokes aside , one can eat whatever they want.

Ha! Ha! That was funny. Don't think I would like to try it. Some things are better left alone. My culinary interest go in a different direction. Remember, it has been said that you are what you eat.

It appears that some of us have forgotten what America stands for. We live in one; if not the best countries in the world. And we must not play into the rhetoric of Donald Trump or any other imposter. To get into an argument involving Donald Trump is to invite all kind of nonsense. All one has to do is to look at his track record. Some of us have died fighting for the right to v**e. There is nothing wrong with his wanting to be president. That is his right. What is wrong is our wanting him to be there when he is not qualified. As the saying goes"when someone shows you who they are, believe them. "

Well, as the saying goes, "you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family."
