Just bought a previously owned Stella on eBay. Sight unseen. It's a 2004 2500. Very reliable seller according to eBay's ratings. Located in Japan. 180 bucks, probably sold brand new for around 600 or so. I've always wondered what all the hoopla was about, but I would never shuck out over 700 dollars for a reel. Not for the kind of fishing I do. I'll be sure to let you all know what I think of it when I get it. I might have to buy a new rod to hold it, but I'm first gonna see how it looks and feels on my wife's Avid Pearl. What do y'all think? Think I'm a fool?

4 with his southern charm says: that’s route 41 sir. Dang, says the red faced Slim, Thanks for letting me know I will look closer next time and be more careful.

But then 4 steps into the bus looks down the aisle at some shaking passengers and it wasn’t from old age as one would gander upon looking at Grizzly, bknecht, anybass, and that Doug Lemmon guy.

But way in the back bk speaks up and says: excuse me officer, does that mean we juts turned off route 95?




Flyguy had just gotten a job at a local elementary school for the FS user club after graduating with his master’s degree in speech–language pathology. Fly was excited to start working with fellow fishers and help them improve their communication skills. He is noted for if he can't you to speak proper he will take you on, in a wrestling match.

On his first day he met a younger man named Billy awesome ( odd last name flyguy thought ) at the office and was to accompany him to the speech therapy room to begin treatments.

While walking to the classroom Fyguy decided to ascertain Billy’s language limitations by asking him a few simple questions and having a short conversation.

“How was your summer, Billy?” he asked, but Billy did not respond.

“Do you catch anything today?”. Still no reply.

After a few more questions with absolutely no reply, Flyguy began to wonder if Billy was completely non-verbal and started wondering if he was up to the challenge of helping him. After all the rumors of Billy being a difficult one may be true.

Finally, they reached the door to the classroom and Flyguy was now seriously concerned and doubted himself. Just as he was attempt another question.

That's when Billy blurted out, Hey “Mister, we’re not supposed to talk in the hallway!”

And now we know how Billy became “ awesome “




A slight miscalculation was discovered that 400 passengers and only 200 meals were loaded on a long haul flight from the PNW to Kansas for the May 2022 M & G.

The airline had bungled once again but this time by Henry G and his crew was in a Fix or Fish situation. However, one smart flight attendant ( Dakota ) had an idea!

About 30 minutes into the flight Dakota nervously announced : "Ladies and Gentlemen, I don't know how this happened but we have 400 passengers on board & only 200 dinners!

Anyone who is kind enough to give up his / her meal for someone else, will receive free unlimited liquor during the entire duration of the flight!" DC and Edward L were now ecstatic and couldn't pass this one up.

Dakota’s next announcement came 2 hours later : "Ladies and Gentlemen, if anyone wants to change their minds, we still have 180 meals available!"

eddierbias was heard to say make that 181 i am not hungry.

Moral of the Story : People who drink have very kind hearts

BadBobby was eating in a truck stop when three bikers walked in.

The first walked up to the old man, pushed his cigarette into the old man's pie and then took a seat at the counter.

The second walked up to the old man, spit into the old man's milk and then he took a seat at the counter.

The third walked up to the old man, turned over the old man's plate, and then he took a seat at the counter.

Onlookers were completely shocked at the men's behavior, but the old man didn't seem to be fazed in the slightest.

Without a word of protest, he quietly left the diner.

Shortly thereafter, one of the bikers said to the waitress, "Humph, not much of a man, was he?"

The waitress replied, "Not much of a truck driver either. He just backed his truck over three motorcycles."
