Honestly, I don't have a problem with people being gay, as long as they keep it to themselves. They don't need to run around with banners and a marching band though. I do have a problem with all of the pronoun BS and the counseling of young children coupled with the secrecy as far as keeping it from the parents. I have a problem with initiating these things with elementary age schoolchildren, who have no idea about sex, let alone homosex and T***s ideology. Cmon, can't we just let the little kids be little kids? Those are the years when they are supposed to be carefree

Spot on! Sometimes I wonder how I ended up on this planet! The behavior of Society has tipped to the brink of Sodom and Gomorrah in terms of the entire spectrum of lunacy!

Although I am tolerant and respectful of another person's right to exercise "freewill" as they see fit, I do not appreciate having in shoved in my face 24/7.

I fish the river pretty regularly and the chinook during the month of May was terrible. the water was dirty and honestly i have found no one that has caught a fish this year. Also unless something has changed make sure to check the emergency regulations because the river closed on May 31st. You would likely be better served to head out to one of the lakes in your area.

The Skagit River is open from the Hwy 530 bridge at Rockport, upstream to the mouth of the Cascade River from June 1st until July 15th. Limit is 4 hatchery Chinook, with only 2 being adults.

That picture is a good example of why they are called, "Blackmouths".

Nice day to be in the great outdoors. Nice looking catch as well.

I can see that fishing Western Washington is going to be an adventure.

That is a for sure thing. So many different species of fish, in both saltwater and fresh. If you add Eastern Washington to that, the entire state is a cornucopia of fishing opportunity. Imagine what it would be like if all of the people involved in fish management would do a better job. I think the people working in Olympia should take some lessons from the Indian Tribes in Eastern Washington. And I'm not trying to start some kind of political conversation. I'm just saying that the tribes, over there, seem to do a good job of managing their fish.

Almost like he's fishing you, it seems. Dangling that bait. You just keep biting at it. But can't quite get it in your mouth. Peck, peck peck.(Not intending to be mean about it, I just can't stand it when people do things like that). Not very neighborly. Just my opinion, not trying to piss anyone off.

Hey, all of you long time Washingtonians, I have a couple of questions for you. Do any of you know where in Washington State, there are any lakes or rivers, where a guy could go catch an Arctic Grayling? Also, where would be my best chance of catching a Lahontan Cutthroat? I've decided that I better start working on a few of my "bucket list" fish. You never know what's around the corner, and I'm definitely not getting any younger.

Try fishing on the bottom with a piece of nightcrawler and a small white marshmallow. On my main line I put a slip sinker, then a small bead or corky, and tie on a snap swivel. Then tie a 2 foot long 4 pound test leader with a size 4 or 6 bait hook. Cast out and once it hits the bottom, reel up, but give them just a little bit of slack. Give them just enough rope to hang themselves. Sorry. Kind of an inside joke. Right Mike?

Sorry, but it's a little Walker Bay dinghy. I've tried taking another person with me, but it's just too crowded. I guess I'll just have to take the fine for breaking the mandated code. I am a blatant violator of the Ballinger Boat Code.

I really like fishing at Martha Lake near Lake Goodwin. There are some hogs in that lake. It's a bit more of a challenge now, since they changed it to artificial lure with single barbless hook, some years back.

To be honest with you, I never did either. But, 4times in the span of a year, that I've fished there, I've only done poorly once. And by poorly, I mean no large trout. I still caught trout, but not anything that impressed me. Those 2 yesterday were impressive, but I've caught a few larger. And I noticed yesterday, that neither fish had their adipose fin clipped. So they either got missed at the hatchery or they're native to the lake? A couple of the larger ones that I've caught here, also had their adipose fin. So, I'm not sure. Your guess is as good as mine. Anyone?
