Was there a few weeks ago but fell out of the camper and didn't get to fish. From the boat launch follow the shore around past the marina and the campground beach area there are some fish habitats out there. There were also a lot of people out further to the north east past the wake area fishing in what I'm assuming is shallower water.

Ceasor creek near Lebanon may be a closer option also I believe it's off route 48. See if Mr Bragg chimes in he's the expert in that area.

Will have my kayaks out at Buck Creek state park this weekend if you would want to try one. I think you are at the max weight for the one I have. I tried an old town which I could stand on but wouldn't suggest it. Pm me if you're interested and I can shoot you information. I would suggest a boat for you just my 2 cents.

Thanks all was on vacation. Got home on the 8th late. Got up went fishing 3 different bodies of water. Both of us go skunked. Then went out for Mexican. Then took kayaks out. All 4 got skunked. Hopefully that north east wind was the problem.

My daughter bought a Lew's American Hero and a Lew's Custom XP both in left hand retrieve. The American Hero was 79 at Dunham's sports. The Custom XP was around 160 at Bass Pro. Those were last year's prices

Started out meeting the "Famous Ben Bragg" Chit chatted for a while.

Then drove back picked up my daughter and went Fishing at Grand lake in St Mary's Ohio. Still trying to figure out what that blue gill was thinking when it took my Booyah spinner bait. What a fiasco that was for the 2 of us trying to get that poor thing released. 4 hours and a bunch more gills later I made the drive back home.

I get home to discover my wife has scheduled a kayak trip for Saturday. Another fun day at Harrison lake. We get home late to hear it's a free weekend for fishing and state park admission in Michigan.

So Sunday afternoon we headed to Hudson lake recreation area for fishing and lounging.

Caught my first Crappie after 3 years of trying. " Even if Mr Bragg said it would count if it was 10 inches bigger.".

24 hours later it was full to the deck the eagles were sitting on. We had areas get 6 plus inches of rain that night and another 1.5 Last night

Too shallow for many fish. Maybe a few small channel cats. Never completely dries up but Great blue Heron walk across in the summer when the creek gets down to a trickle. Was installed about 30 years ago after a major flash flood. 10 inches of rain in like 4 hours. Made a mess down stream as we only have like 10 to 15 feet of elevation Change over close to 50 miles.

Lake La Su Ann in Williams county. On of the small lakes on the north west side of the area. I hit Oxbow lake outside Defiance Saturday morning for like an hour and caught 6 fish most fun I've ever had there.

The wacky rig seems to be the setup I have the most luck with. I can try for hours with no luck on anything throw a wacky rigged senko and boom catch 3 or 4 fish and not move. Did it 2 or 3 times now. It has me leaving 1 rod always set up. Still have to try other lures though.

What about the milk man coming to your house? The fire department came to school and put all the first and second graders on top of the hose bed and drove us around town with lights on and siren blasting. Sure there would be just A few issues with that now days.
