theres a famous dolphin called pinky, that is all pink down in calcasieu lake. ive seen her twice, was so amazed i couldnt take any pics. just look up pinky in big lake.
Those old cotton trailers were something so ive been told. my grandpa owned a cotton gin back in the day. the building is still there and our office is on the side of it.
ponds will spoil you my brother and i caught 57 Sunday nothing that big though. 2 weeks ago was in my little 2 acre pond and caught 40 giant white perch in about a hour.
fished a tournament there this weekend fishing started off slow but we ended up catching some fish, once it warmed it later in the day. depending on if the lake level comes up should be able to find some in the bushes around 1215 area, right now lake is about 3 foot and no bushes to flip. we caught our fish on a senko on the bank also dropped on e around 7lbs at boat. wouldve taken 2nd in tourney but spun prop and never made it to weigh in.
it was a blast we fish more for and bragging rights fun my buddy has a camp so we go fry fish before every tourneny we cooked ribeyes for the championship. look up my post i have some pics of the biggest stringer posted about 6 weeks ago.
Year has ended we fished 20 tournaments this year. We had a great run, we won angler of the year and biggest stringer of the year. ended year with 125.15 lbs and biggest stringer was 15.71, 3 fish limit. there was 4 tournaments we zeroed so we had around a 3lb average. im very fired up.
