I've always wanted to try an old trick of putting several minnies in a jar suspended on a spare line then cast a single minnie close by like a straggler. Anyone here did that one and how did you do? Guess it beats underwater explosives

Has anyone with the lack of rain noticed how hard it is to harvest nightcrawlers. I was told they go deeper sometimes as deep as 15 foot. Im in Adams county PA about 16 min north of Gettysburg. And it seems the fish has just stopped bitting as well. Will try some good size minnows and go deep perhaps the O2 is better there

It never ceases to amaze me how all you know these lures. Does it mean that you watched too many tv fishing commercials and fell for that hi Im (so and so ) and I believe in this lure it catches fish

I moved to PA 2 years ago and live on a private lake and would never fish it or anyplace on a weekend A great place close is in Liberty at the dam (we used to call it swinging bridge after the bar there) they even rent boats but there are plenty of open boat launch places if I remember. As for me love it here in PA there are a ton of fish holes lakes and streams by me as I live in Adams county thats about maybe 2-3 hrs from ya or about 45 min south from bass pro shop

so what is special about them

they are like cocaine to fish, they can't get enough of em . Worth the money in a bait store instead of all the trouble to get em.

Thinking when bass season opens in PA this 15th. I'd like to try to use real mice from the pet store (feeders) as live bait as an advantage. I already use feeder goldfish as live bait cheeper than minis and they hold up better.

So the question arrises how to keep the little buggers (mice) alive longer instead for just hooking them .
Do I rubber band them to the hooks or make a harness or or use velcro
