And the Cali governor wants to build a tunnel to send water from Northern California to Southern Cal.
Check out Almanor Fishing Association fishing report. I fished last weekend, caught 2 decent fish on copcar (white, black and red) Speedy Shiner...2 mph...29 ft on downrigger. Best fishing is in Hamilton Branch. If you are going to fish from a boat, be very careful. See AFA report.
Check the fishing report board at Sportsmen's Wharehouse in Reno
The rod holder looks great.
The reason why you built it...Priceless

I’m looking to fish the hex hatch at Lake Almanor this year. Any tips on technique, location and time of day?
The Hex is just starting. Check with Mark at Sierra Fly Shop in Chester or in Hamilton Branch. He can give you all the details...and flies if you need them.
Almanor Fishing Association report.
Check with Sportsmen's Wharehouse in Reno. Maybe they can help. They post fishing reports for area lakes.

I use a Wiggle Fin when I troll for trout. I use it with flies, grubs, Gulp minnows...anytime I want to impart action on my lure. They are also called Action Discs. Try Cal Kellogg (Fish ,Hunt , Shoot Productions) on You Tube. Or, Google.

I know this question has been asked previously but I couldn’t find any of those posts. I’m interested in purchasing a peddle powered kayak and was wondering if anyone out there has some suggestions on makes or models. I prefer to buy one that has proven quality and durability so am willing to pay more for that than save a few bucks. I would primarily be using it for fresh water lakes in Colorado. Any advice would be much appreciated
There is a Hobie Mirage listed on Reno craigslist. Looks loaded with fishing accessories. You can get an idea of what Hobie is all about.
