Can anyone tell me the brand of this boat and trailer, it was given to me yesterday, needs quite a bit of work, tires and wheels, seats, winch and more. Has 60hp evinrude motor, under the cowling it looks ok but will get a battery to see if the electrics are ok. Has been sitting there for several years.

You may be able to find the information through the registration numbers.

If you have a battery operated trolling motor I would at least look at the brand that will sync up with the motor.

I remember a guy who regularly fished for catfish from a boat at night. He would anchor and cast to the bank. He would say the closer to the bank he got, the bigger the fish got. So your cast as far as possible may be better to the left or right or not so far and trying to figure out where the fish are holding.

Look for a Penn combo that will fit your needs. Combo generally going to be less expensive than buying separately.

Everything Fred suggests and top water’s on a full moon would be a lot of fun. The senko could also be fished Texas rigged with a small pegged weight. Smaller finesse worms fished carolina rigged would also be a different presentation to try.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

My name is Scott, I move down from New York in December 2018. I was injured in a motorcycle accident in August 1985. I am an avid fisherman and just got my own new boat it is wheelchair accessible.

I’ve been fishing for 45 years this is my second assessable boat I have had. I am looking for fishing partners to help me or if somebody is in a wheelchair and would like to go fishing we would love to have you.

I am out of Saint Augustine I have a 30 foot Parker I put two tuna doors on the sides, Twin 300hp Yamaha‘s . We have ramps to roll right off the dock onto the boat. We have electric reels I have stations that will be able to catch goliath grouper with our electric fishing equipment.

So if you are interested please get in touch with me I appreciate it.

Tight lines
Scott B

Just like you need to plan for your financial needs in retirement you need to plan for your social needs. Retirement takes some adjustment after getting up and going to work every day. So a person needs to develop the skills to do the things they enjoy whether it is fishing, hunting, golf, hiking, biking, sewing to really enjoy those activities.
Remember everyday is Saturday except Sunday, go to church to worship the creator after enjoying his creation.
