You can find almost anything on the web. Look it up and find your parts. I found a broken spring for a 30 year old reel this past summer. Would have helped if I had the instructions as parts schematic was very small and wrong angle.

Pretty Childish. I’m thrill When my wife out fishes me. She had a better time, learns to know why I enjoy it so much and just proved that I taught her right which is a feather in my cap. Now I’ve been teaching a 14 yr old Granddaughter since she was 5. She’s a thrill to take fishing and has really learned to enjoy nature.

Went fishing yesterday and this is what I caught.

Two gar, (the main prize) and a stringer full of channal cats....hubby caught two small cats....and when he saw me pulling in fish after fish, he threw his pole down, huffed and then stomped up the stairs from where we was fishing and sat the entire time in the truck and refused to talk to me on the way home and would not eat the fish I caught.....

Moby Dick was fictional. You can use a lighter line, better yet, a better leader.

Having fished the same lake for over 70 yrs, I don't claim to be the best fisherman, but I do catch the most fish and I catch fish when everyone else has given up.
Pike are a favorite, because they are an easy target. Yes the weed lines are a favorite for most fisherman, but I also fish deep water, especially when its very hot and the water has gotten warm. People think I'm crazy fishing in open water as deep as 90 feet, but I catch lots of suspended fish while trolling deep diving lures. Northern Pike are most common, but i've caught several 10 pound Walleye and Lake trout doing the same thing. Look for bait, sometimes it schooled near the surface, especially at night. Put out your shallow running lures and big walleyes are easy to pick off.

I lost a car to the lake several years ago. Some kind person called the County Sheriff and reported it as Drunk Driver Incident which it wasn’t. Sherriff’s Deputy wasn’t at all surprised by the event. I had pulled my boat out of the water and stopped on the ramp to check for proper centering of the boat when it started to roll back into the lake. Being the boat was attached to trailer winch, it held the trailer up and car swung around and sank in deeper water. When vehicle was retrieved, shifting lever was still in park and parking brakes still set. What happened. It was and older car with a heavy boat and parking system just failed to hold the load against the incline of the boat ramp. Sherriff’s Deputy says he sees 10-12 of these events every year. That was why he wasn’t surprised to get the call. Simple fix, carry wheel chocks and use them if you get out of the vehicle. I haven’t lost another car since then, but what an experience. (P.S. keep good insurance, luckily I did)

You have hungry mussels. We have them too, but they prefer live bait.
