Screw the but back on. If the threads on the nut are messed up look in the manual for a part number and search online. Vice Versa if the female threads are messed up.

I think it’s the threads. I went to cabelas and they referred me to a place but I’m going to dig a little more into its parts. Thank you!

Something is wrong. The nut retainer is still on the handle, so you cannot just screw it back on.

It's hard to tell from the pic, but are the threads all messed up on the shaft?

I think the threads are messed up. The nut retainer kind of tightens and then comes loose every time.

If the threads are messed up to the point that the nut will fall off with the retainer on, then that shaft is screwed.

I didn't see a "Revo X", is that the full reel name?

If the nut still screws back on but comes loose over time use some loctite blue thread locker.

I concur. Give Loctite a go before you buy new parts.

You can find almost anything on the web. Look it up and find your parts. I found a broken spring for a 30 year old reel this past summer. Would have helped if I had the instructions as parts schematic was very small and wrong angle.

Try ereplacementparts.com they offer parts for anything. When you get it back together keep the nut and retainer screw tight. Check the screw and the threaded hole, to for stripped threads. If you are not sure what's wrong ask for help from some one that is mechanically inclined.
