I have already bought, but not used, a couple of the Sienna 4000RD reels, and I was just wondering what experience others have had with them.

Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming, I appreciate it.

My first inquiry here.

Does anyone have any experience with the Shimado, rear drag reels, specifically the Sienna 4000RD?

I like the idea of the drear drag, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of them out there. Just wondering if there was a good mechanical/physical reason for that.

Thanks Gang.

Yes and selling them overseas. They had contracts with China

My limited understanding is, China bought a bunch of them, from the US factories, before WE knew how bad it really was.

Then China would NOT let them, export the ones made in 3M's Chinese factories, but made them sell those to China also. It was NOT a 3M decision, or option.

Want to talk about killing machines. Try the M16 with a 20 MM barrel just under the M16 barrel. Chop down a tree with the M16 or blow up the tree with a 20 MM. Awesome rifle.

That should be a 40MM grenade launcher, the M203, as I recall. Same round, but less distance as the M79, blooper!

I noticed another problem. The .38 S&W (Smith and Wesson), should NOT chamber in a .357 S&W Magnum. It is shorter AND FATTER. .362 bullet VS .357.

The .38 Smith and Wesson SPECIAL, will chamber and fire, in the .357 Magnum chamber, having the same size bullet, but a .100 shorter case.

The engine was based on the Crosley auto/industrial 750cc OHC (overhead cam) and was Homelite that developed further then Sold it to Fisher Pierce who refined it further to sell on 16' Boston Whalers.

4 cycle state of the art for boats. Fuel Efficient and less detrimental to the water and air.

Ah, someone that knows a bit about Crosleys.

The Crosley was 44 C.I. 2 1/2 bore X 2 1/4 stroke, 26.5 HP. The Homelite upped it to 59/60 C.I., 2 3/4 bore, 2 1/2 stroke, 55 HP. Later sold to Fisher Peirce, marketed as Bearcat.

Good efficient engines, but very heavy, in comparison to all of the two strokes, of the day.

For 21+ years, I sold parts and service, for Crosley cars, and a few related boat engine parts, also. I'm in the process of building, 3 Crosley engines, now.

Chrysler/West Bend, had nothing to do with them, at all.

Well, I'm afraid that any kit, that would GUARANTEE that I would get fish, would HAVE to involve EXPLOSIVES of some sort.
