Well, Ch;... Two alligator brothers, had agreed to "meet up" in New Orleans, during Mardi Gras, the following year. When it came time for their reunion, one was all fat and healthy looking. The other one looked malnourished and rather sickly.

Can't speak for anyone else, but this old dog is not fooling himself, nor is he easily fooled by others ! IF they come, I'm no longer in a position to put up much of a struggle (only got one little 'pea-shooter' .25 cal. semi-auto left), but I won't be giving it up !
Like the old saying goes - "I will give up my gun(s) when they pry it (them)
from my cold, dead fingers !"

Wouldn't want to live under

Hopefully, this country will get

Not one lonesome g-man has ever showed up on my doorstep to even ask to see them, much less collect them. True, it's been said time and again
in the past, but then, our country
has never been so screwed up
before, either ! This administration
is WAY too far 'left' for me - it
smacks of real 'socialism', and
even though they haven't (and may never) come for our guns, they sure have made ammo scarce, more expensive and difficult to find since the Obama regime took over !

While it's true that Trump was hardly
the best example of what our president should be like (as with
most of them since the Reagan era), he's was a vast improvement over
the current 'dodo in charge' ! At
least, Trump tried to do good for
our country while in office - the
current 'meat-whistle' cares about
no one/nothing but his wallet (at
OUR expense) !
I've never wondered/worried as
much about this country's fate/
future as I have over the past
couple of years, and I have very
little respect for anyone (or any
party) who has to resort to sub-terfuge (or sneak thieving) to

As you said “don’t fool yourself”. I’ve never heard a president threaten to disarm us like Biden has either. I’m WAY younger than you (67 in May) but I’ve seen a thing or two myself. I’ve seen people voluntarily surrender their guns in Oregon because the local government convinced them if someone were to get a hold of one of their guns and commit a crime they would be responsible for it. Dumpsters full of very valuable firearms because they knew how to scare the people. What I have is mine and nobody is going to just walk into my home and take it without a word or two exchanged.

You can’t argue they’re contemplating it. “Any semi-automatic rifle that is capable of accepting a magazine” pretty much defines any rifle most of us have. Including the old semi-auto 22 Grampa gave us 50 years ago. In all of my years alive I’ve never seen or heard this sort of thing until just recently either so sit back, watch and be prepared.
