What ones are the best eating. Unscramble this and head north to harvest one. ROICUAB
Only one I've eaten is perch. Would like to try some caribou though. Most of my eating is salt water same as my fishing.

It would be hard to beat any of those three panfish trying to figure out the best one 😁

I pick box number two but perch are pretty darn good too. Haven’t tried box number three. I’d eat any of them over caribou though. That stuff is really dry and not real tasty in my opinion.

I've only tried perch, can't wait to try the others though if only i could catch them in a decent size
I believe it would be a toss up between the three. The secret would be how they were dressed and then prepared. If caught and kept on ice, then filet quickly, rinsed and then fried, all three would be delicious. Justr Sayin...RJS

I guess most people around here, would just automatically say the Perch... But; to me, they're all good. I guess if someone wanted to know what I would "target", given the opportunity; since I haven't had Perch in so long now; I guess I'd .... Lemme rethink that... I'd offer to clean their whole catch for them, when they got back to the hill; as long as I could have a good mess of'em.

Just hit the timing right today. Haven't hit it first in a while.😀
Perch crappie and bluegill in that order
Crappie and bluegill is really a toss up.
Perch I’ll eat like potato chips. Cold beer and a football game. Yum
Love them all but believe it or not I actually prefer bluegill.
If they were all caught out of the same water and cleaned the same, it would be pretty hard to tell the difference, other than the shape of the perch filet. All good eating. At least here, the crappie tend to be bigger than the perch and bluegill, so might get the edge for eating.
That is more fish than I've caught in my whole life, I'm 82...

For me bluegill are hard to beat Then perch and last crappie. I wouldn’t pass up a good meal of any of them though.
