Toss up but I like to catch crappie because of potential for bigger ones. All 3 species are fun to catch but hard to fillet compared to my favorite, which is walleye. Yumm🤪

I vote for the Crappie Mike. I’ve never seen a Caribou before.
Hack 🇺🇸🍺🍺

Lake Erie perch is the best you'll ever eat. I love perch, although bluegill are a top runner...🙂

For me bluegill are hard to beat Then perch and last crappie. I wouldn’t pass up a good meal of any of them though.

I agree with your selection. But caribou is tasty also!

asking which of those three is best is just wrong. If you were 21 years old again & someone ask you which would you rather date, Lynda Carter, Ann Margaret or Barbara Eden. What's the difference except hair color? Same as those 3 fish, the're all 3 a prize on the table. I'll take a helping of whichever fish is golden brown first. I did not date any of those women.

To me, the yellow perch are the best of the three ! Still waitin' on
a chance to taste their bigger, tastier cousin, Mr. Walleye ! With winter comin' in up in the north country, I may have to wait 'til spring to catch one, now !

I pick box number two but perch are pretty darn good too. Haven’t tried box number three. I’d eat any of them over caribou though. That stuff is really dry and not real tasty in my opinion.

Never had a chance at eatin' caribou, but I HAVE had venison, elk, and moose; of those three,
I found the moose to be the
tastiest and most tender !

Not a fan of mutton (from adult sheep ?), but my dad used to grill
a 'leg of lamb' on a spit that was
to die for ! In the military, his rank was Steward 1st Class (he was
an Officers' cook), and he was a true grillmaster ! Last time was back in the late-70s/early-80s,
and haven't had anything nearly that good since then ! The
closest I've found was a local Greek restaurant back home, and even it was short of the mark in comparison !

He also had a marinade recipe
for prepping and cooking
'country-style' pork ribs the
scent of which would make
your mouth water and attract
all the neighbors any time he would cook them ! Can't even count the number of people
who bugged him for that
recipe ! Although I have a
copy of it, I can't even come
close to duplicating his results !
