I’m guessing you were the poster boy for a new tourist campaign. A laid back patron of the great outdoors. Morning Spirit.

L.W. I would be like a kid in a candy store. Are you allowed to tour and watch the process of a knife being born? And what wood do they use? I’d love to visit there.

Somebody shoulda taken my picture while I was sleeping. Hey, I was very comfortable in the shade of a big ol sugar pine and the fish were all very much in tune with my need for a little sleep. Certainly none of them bothered me.

Yes they have tours . Check their web sight. Not sure if they do right now ,because of the shut downs.

In a pinch they deliver a nice concussion too! LOL

They also work pretty well for splitting a mule deer. I have a buck110 that has slit several over the years. I bout it at a estate sail for $10 years ago . It's all I carry for a hunting knife .

Oh yea, learnt how to skin & cut up a muley with a Buck 110...gave that one away while stationed overseas. It was the price of a lifetime to this guy. Kept showing it off to his buddies.

Sorry...I goofed. Old age is stealing memory cells. I have a Leatherman Wave, also, but the one I carry which has spring-loaded pliers is my Leatherman "Wingman". See it here...

Grreat tool...& unfortunately like Swiss Army knifes no matter the size a highly collectible TSA item.
Even as a pilot you could not have either one on your possession...

Mora will also just sell you a blank for like $8 that you can handle with your own personal material.
for a throw in the boat tackle box knife or daily carry it is crazy good deal.
the high carbon steel blades that are the best ones need a skiff of oil now and again but is that really a problem when a guy takes care of all his things.

I don't sell these or anything of the sort but in today's world this harkens back to the 50's when real guys made real stuff for real guys.

I have 6 currently but I gift them friends coworkers and other guys on the lake friends everybody loves these knives. keep mine on a beaded chain around my neck hangs down I can reach it easily and never slips in/out of the sheath. tight lines all
Mora will also just sell you a blank for like $8 t... (show quote)

Where have you been getting your mora knives and how much? Sportsman Guide used to carry them but I have not looked lately. Think I saw em @ local hardware store for $10. Might have to pick one up.

Make sure they are true Mora knives made Sweden. There are some look a likes out there from china not worth the money. I have a Mora knife in all my vehicles...it's the basic model normally sells for $12-15 best deal I found was at Academy Sports...so far no problem with rust & they keep a good edge.
Also I have a Gerber multi tool similar to my Leatherman Blast...prefer the locking system on the Gerber...Plus the price was right it was on sale on the base.

Now you have me guessing if Academy Sports stopped carrying them. They were on sale the last time I was there & thinking I should pick one up but didn't.
One very important item missing on a leatherman...which is on most Swiss Army Knives...the cork screw. Have a collection of Swiss Army knives with cork screws for the number of times I ended up spending the night someplace & ended up with a bottle with a cork in it. Especially working with NATO units of other nations.

This is a nice little pocket knife I picked up a while back when they were on sale for under 10 bucks. Very light and blade locks open and closed. But. It is carbon steel, kinda soft. It will take an edge, boy will it, but it won't hold it well and it will tarnish and rust up on you if you don't keep it sparkling clean. Not for everyone.
