Mr. Hartford,
I could be wrong; but I think you may refer to the mom and daughter election workers in Georgia (Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss).
If so, they were recently awarded over 32-million dollars in a defamation law suit against Mayor Giuliani, prompting his bankruptcy submittal.
However imperfect our justice system may be, I see this verdict as a demonstration of law and order.
Bottom line to me in reference to your "...videos stuffing armloads of ballots...," it has been adjudicated as false. Yup, not true.
This represent only what I think I know.
Best to you and yours,
Stephen

9-0 vote, 100% agree.
I offer for consideration by all, this Supreme Court decision just demonstrated definitional judicial "activism," which I can only hope we all think is a bad idea.
What do I see as activism?
The SINGULAR question at contest was can a state disqualify a candidate from a Federal election ballot. Nothing more.
The Court got this one right, 9-0.
The Court's decision continued on, after deciding on the singular issue, to add that the ONLY way to disqualify a federal candidate was through legislation passed by both Houses and signed by the president, eliminating Federal Courts from any decision-making process.
Can anyone here agree that this was indeed judicial activism?
If you get a chance, read Amy Coney Barrett's (certainly no leftie) decision comment.
Hate is not part of my world.

This is what the Civil War was over. State versus Federal Rights.
The Slavery Issue was for the people of the North of join in against the South.
The North knew that State Versus federal Rights would not be enough for the people of the North to fight over.
So they went for the Slavery Issue, which was a good reason as well but really about Federal Rights Versus State Rights.
A lot like getting us into WWII. Anytime Japan could not get what they wanted by Trade they went to war for.
FDR wanted us in the War to help Stalin, so he had the Steel trade with Japan killed.
No one thought that Japan would attack Pearl harbor, but they used it to get us into the war.
The common man in the US did not want to go to war, the US was Neutral.
"Remember the Arizona!" Was the cry. What was not brought out was that the Arizona had been hit so much because her guns were all unblocked. She could have fought back as a Battleship. The Arizona was evacuated Three (3) times! All three times the crew went back to fight the fires to try and save Her.
The last time the fire got to the Forward Powder Mag and blew the bottom out, taking all the hands with her.
That was the story I got from my Father was at Pearl that day. He got the Navy Cross for his actions for saving the men in the water during the attack and for doing the rescue operations on the Oklahoma afterwards.
The second prong of the attack was called off by japan due to the Declaration of War not making it to FDR until after the attack at Pearl. The second prong was still underway to take out the Panama Canal to make the US have to go around the Horn of South America to get to the Pacific. Die to the "Shame" of not being at war when they attacked Pearl. That attack at the canal was called off.
The real history was not told to the Press or the American people. All of the personal of the Arizona were remembered as Victims, NOT Heroes to the US Public, to make them want to go to War.
History has been lied about so many times to allow Politicians start or join a War.
BTW the Movie 1941 with the attack on LA and San Fransisco actually happened.
The Japanese Dropped leaflets telling us to surrender on LA, Long Beach, and San Fransisco.
All of the people were told to say in their houses that night until the next day.
By that time all of the fragments of the AA shells had been picked up, all the leaflets and all of the shot down planes by the time the All Clear was given to the people to come out.
nothing was allowed to be written of it in the Newspapers or on the radio so Japan didn't know that the planes had made it to the US from their Air Craft Carriers. Total News Black Out about it.

Correct. Now if he goes to prison, as a convicted felon, that's a different story. IMO

What makes it different. Nothing says a felon cannot be president. Only 2 requirements to be president, natural born citizen and 35 years old. It does not say who cannot be president.

That all means nothing when you have open our borders to millions of people and we have no idea who they are. The man is senile and most of his people look like they came from the " Land of Misfit Toys ". He has turn our country into the laughing stock of the world. Ask a young family with a couple of kids, house payment, car payment etc. if they are better off today or four years ago. Don't take my word for it, half or more of America feels the same way.

I gotta ask.
Am I correct you are clearly stating that a bill to help veterans who have long been suffering from the effects of burn pits "means nothing?"
From my understanding of our language, that's exactly what was said...presumed unintentional.

Stephen

Well, he said that he wanted it to get Disability for his son. Glad he did as I was finally able to get it for hypertension (10%), They would NOT allow it under Agent Oranges.

How about just a single bill to help the veterans with no pork in it.
That would b my suggestion.
Would pass easily.

One good thing doesn't out weight all the bad he has done to this country. If he wants to help the veterans put the bill up by itself so it can pass. He has no problem giving all the illegals' free schooling, heath care, driving licenses, etc but throws the vets a bone. Oh by the way I am a veteran

The bill was signed into law by our current President in August, 2022.
Officially known as the Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act of 2022.
Generally known as the PACT Act.
Come on, give the Prez some credit. He got it done.
It's not like this problem (burn pit exposures) didn't exist during the period 2017 - 2021.
Tight lines,
Stephen
